Étienne spent fourteen years as a police K9 handler before founding K9 Sentinelle. Camille is a certified dog trainer specialized in guardian breeds. Together, they don't just look at pedigree — they assess nerve strength, recovery after a startle, and how a puppy comes back to a person after being surprised.
Our three breeding females live in the house, not in an outdoor kennel run. Each has two to three litters in her lifetime, then retires right here with us.

Health tested, not guessed
Hips, elbows, heart, eyes and a DNA panel (including degenerative myelopathy) on both parents before any breeding. You receive the actual results, not a summary from memory.
Temperament assessed, not hoped for
Daily handling from day three, structured nerve testing from seven weeks, gradual exposure to sounds, surfaces and children. A stable Rottweiler isn't left to chance.
Support for life
Recommended training classes, follow-up after your puppy leaves, an open line for the hard questions. And if you ever can't keep your dog, they come back here. Never to a shelter.
Far more than a reputation.
The Rottweiler descends from the cart-pulling, cattle-driving and guard dogs of the German town of Rottweil — a sturdy working dog, never bred to be nervous or unpredictable. Well-raised and well-socialized, it's a calm dog at home, reserved with strangers, and fiercely devoted to its family.
It isn't a first dog for everyone. It needs training, ongoing socialization and an owner who doesn't confuse firmness with harshness. That's exactly what we screen for before placing a puppy.
From your first question to the ride home.
You write to us
Tell us about your household: children, other pets, experience with guardian breeds or large dogs, your training plan. We reply within one or two days, honestly — sometimes to tell you this dog isn't for you.
We meet
Kennel visits by appointment, even before a litter is born. You meet the parents and see their temperament with your own eyes. A breeder who won't let you visit is telling you something.
Reservation and matching
A $500 deposit confirms your place on the litter. Puppy–family matching happens around week six, based on temperament testing — not on a first-come basis, and not on the colour picked from a photo.
Going home at 8-9 weeks
Your puppy leaves vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and examined by our veterinarian, with a health record, the parents' screening results and a blanket that smells like the litter.
A litter is expected in late September.
